Important Scuba Diving Information
Scuba diving offered at The Fajardo Inn is provided by an independent operator, Sea Ventures Pro Dive Center, not affiliated to The Fajardo Inn. While on your diving excursion, The Fajardo Inn will not be held responsible for any injury, or inconvenience encountered. Sea Ventures is a long established, licensed, and insured professional diving operator, with many qualified guides and instructors to ensure the best possible diving adventure.
You cannot reduce the number of dives included with any package, but we can usually accommodate you if you wish to increase them. There will be an extra fee for doing so. The Fajardo Inn can also accommodate groups larger than ten people needing customized arrangements and quotes. Please call the Front Desk for information.
What To Expect
For each day of diving, you will be brought to two of many possible dive sites on board our 38 ft Delta Dive boat, the "Coral Queen" that averages 8-10 kts. Sea Ventures will determine the site best suited for that given day, considering safety, weather, and clients' wishes. You can expect dives on colorful reefs, teeming with wild life, ranging in depths from 25 feet to 80 feet, and in water temperatures from 75°F to 80°F. Sea Ventures always considers the experience level, and comfort level of the clients on board, while planning a dive. Dives are in the morning, and you need to be at the Sea Ventures Dive Shop, (about 15 minutes from The Fajardo Inn, located at Marina Puerto Del Rey, in Fajardo) by 8:00 AM. The Fajardo Inn can provide transportation for $30 per four people. (Includes drop-off and pick-up). Each dive starts with a "gear up", then dockside orientation by the Dive Master, and then planning the dive. You will have another site specific orientation at the dive site itself where you will be told what you will and might see down below. Questions are always welcome.
Sea Ventures provides non-alcoholic beverages, and light snacks while on the boat. You are welcome to pack something more, but keep in mind there is usually only about 15 minutes in between each dive. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the boat. Most divers are comfortable in diving shorts and a T-Shirt, but you may rent a wet suit for an additional $5. It is recommended you bring your own sunscreen, towel, and perhaps a windbreaker for windy days.
Each dive includes two tanks, usually used at two different locations. You can expect to be back at the dock at about 12:30 PM.

Subject to availability. Unused portions of packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, have no cash value and/or cannot be used after guest departure. Not valid for groups. Non-commissionable. You have 72 hour cancellation policy. If room is cancelled after this period, 50% of the package fee will be charged to credit card on reservation.
